Her Story
Housekeeper to Headliner
Lorena grew up in a proud Mexican-American family in the Bay Area, where music was always playing. She spent four years cleaning rooms at a San Francisco nursing home, singing the whole shift, before an open mic night on a family cruise changed everything.
One karaoke performance of a classic soul standard turned into a contract as a cruise line vocalist, then a move to Las Vegas in 2005, then a decade-plus run as the headlining voice of Fantasy at Luxor, where she's been the star since 2010.
She's since turned that journey into her own original production, sung the national anthem at NFL games, and built a career on the same thing that got her started: showing up, singing her heart out, and making an audience feel like family.
